Non-personalised door drops are all about numbers (and spreadsheets)! Typically they work on a high volume, low cost and low response rate model. Because of the low cost per unit to print, produce and distribute they don’t usually need a high response rate to deliver a good return on investment. They’re also an ideal medium to split test formats, offers, creative. Big companies aren’t doing door drops because they don’t work!
